1. Colleges should have a work readiness and placement center on every campus
2. Employer host sites and individual supervisors should earn certification
3. Students should be required to intern and pay tuition
4. Internship tuition credits should be rebated and right purposed
5. Employers should pay students fair wages and provide equal opportunities
6. Career centers should be adequately funded and be aligned with academic affairs
7. Virtual internships have world-changing potential that should be harnessed.
We actually don't limit ourselves to seven things, especially when it comes to our Learning Experience Access Program (LEAP) to - among many things - fund the network of work readiness and placement centers and sponsor paid interns. |
