Consulting and Training
TII offers consulting and training in internship program development and implementation at the regional, state, local and organizational levels. The following are consultants who can be contracted through TII:
Matthew Zinman – Matthew was the original founder of TII and serves on its Board as Chief Advisor. He is currently CEO of Internship Success, Inc., a provider and trainer in internship design and implementation of Z University brand products. Matthew has worked in the internship field for more than 20 years, including personally managing and mentoring in excess of 200 interns. Since 2002 he has developed practical solutions based on Blueprints for Internship SuccessTM that are certified by TII as models of best practices.
Cindy Morgan-Jaffe – is also known as the “Intern Lady” and as the DC Internships Examiner. She is a nationally certified counselor with a specialty in careers and youth. Cindy runs TII where she brings over 25 years of experience in building and managing organizations in both the non-profit and profit sectors. She helps groups and individuals clarify what they want or need in an internship program or internship, is a certified trainer in delivering Z University solutions, and evaluates existing programs to recommend how they can be more closely tied to organization strategies.
Susan Shaffer - Susan is a workforce consultant, grant writer and project manager with over 20 years in the field of workforce development. Her accomplishments include being the lead author of the grant application selected by Governor Rendell from Pennsylvania that resulted in a $15 million Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development funded by the U.S. Department of Labor. Upon receipt of the grant, her responsibilities were transitioned to the development of a detailed implementation plan to effectively invest, monitor, guide and track 62 projects.
