The Northeastern Pennsylvania Technology Institute (NPTI), founded in September 2004, is the capstone program initiated by the 1999 Battelle Report, A Technology Strategy for Northeastern Pennsylvania. The report encouraged the region to build a knowledge economy by harnessing the intellectual capital and energy from within our institutes of higher education. |
