Our Internship Seeding Initiative is proprietary, proven and uniquely industry-focused.

We equip employers with everything needed to easily and effectively DEVELOP, MANAGE and GROW quality internship programs for optimum return on investment.

The results are extraordinary.

It starts with our nationally recognized Blueprint for Internship Success, which standardizes best practices for internship programs.

To maximize social impact, we employ U.S. veterans to serve as our TrainingCorps specialists. This team provides the support to guide you step-by-step through our comprehensive training and program management resources — including compliance solutions for organizations with unpaid internships.

Successful internship programs provide employers with the talent needed to thrive, while preparing interns with experiential training, mentoring and job readiness skills to make them more employable.

Once internship programs take root and achieve a defined level of performance, we are pleased to evaluate them for our Certification of Internship Quality — a significant advantage that can be leveraged in your recruiting efforts.

In 2010, the Internship Seeding Initiative was awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor* designated for the 10 counties in Northeast Pennsylvania.

The grant was aimed at retaining college-educated workers needed to fulfill the need for skilled workers in evolving business sectors.
The program achieved total saturation of the region:

  • 30 institutions of higher education participated
  • 67 participating employers across 10 counties hosted interns
  • 120 additional host sites received our multi-media training materials
  • All 50 students funded under the grant were recruited and placed

Now, several years later, our success stories continue to thrive:

  • A business where we planted an internship program and placed two interns now has more than 40 per year and is still growing!
  • Another company quickly expanded a similar program and has since hired nearly 20 former interns full-time upon graduation — most still remain with the company.
